Chelsea was born and raised in Colorado Springs. While most grew up with sports like soccer or basketball, Chelsea was an Irish dancer for almost 14 years. It is Irish dance that introduced Chelsea to her husband, Joe. She was lucky to also be introduced to a number of different Celtic festivals in Colorado which became helpful when Chelsea and Joe started the Pikes Peak Celtic Festival in Colorado Springs. Since beginning the festival, Joe and Chelsea got married in March of 2014 and grew their family in February of 2015 when their daughter, Ainsley, was born. Chelsea attended UCCS where she received her Business degree. Following graduation she went to work for the March of Dimes as their Southern Colorado Development Specialist. She was excited to use her love of event planning and fundraising to benefit an organization and mission that she is passionate about. Outside of work, Chelsea enjoys anything that means spending time with her husband, daughter and their dog, Elle.
