A 2017 Guide to Colorado Springs Vacation Bible Schools

0

Summer is here! Woohoo! Days of sunscreen, swinging in the back yard, and a Popsicle dripping down our chins stretch out before us. I love spending these days with my kids. But sometimes my kids and I need a break from each other.

Enter the myriad of great Vacation Bible School options around town this summer. Easy on the budget, but big on fun and new friends, Vacation Bible School is a great way to give your kids a little variety and perhaps get a little break for yourself. Some programs take kids as young as three years old, as long as they are potty trained. Other programs will take kids from kindergarten on up. In addition, there are opportunities for your tween or teen to be a Vacation Bible School assistant or counselor for the week – great for learning leadership and racking up those volunteer hours!  Most take place in the morning before lunch, and are generally 4 or 5 mornings for an entire week. There is an evening option too. What follows is a partial list of the many Vacation Bible School programs that are happening in our area this summer.

Please note that while we made every attempt to make sure this information is correct, you should contact each program directly to get more details and to find out if there is still space available. Enjoy!
