{Play Date Announcement} Summer Splash Mini Series

0

Summer is here.  And with summer always comes swimming!  In our family, we are near water whenever we can be, but I’m extra anxious when my young boys are around the water.  We just recently checked out SafeSplash Swim School, and we are looking forward to our Play Date Mini Series with them!

SafeSplash is the fastest growing brand in the aquatics industry.  Their focus is on safety and they have a unique curriculum that makes learning to swim fun for all ages and abilities.  In Colorado Springs, they just opened a dedicated facility that offers year-round, indoor swim lessons.   For this mini series of play dates, we are hosting play dates over the summer. We’ve got options during the week and even one during the weekend. Please read this post in it’s entirety for all of the important details {especially those FAQ’s!}, and purchase your ticket in the form below…

FAQ’s

What can I expect during the play date?

When you first arrive, you will sign a waiver with SafeSplash and get changed for swimming. There are convenient changing rooms at the facility.  As a parent, you are welcome to swim with your child or children.  There will be a lifeguard on duty and extra lifejackets if you prefer to let your kids swim on their own!

What if I have more than one child?

Just secure a spot for each child in the form below, and bring your crew ready to swim!

What age is this play date geared toward?

This play date is open to kiddos age one years old and up, but we think that kids in the 1 – 5 age range will have the most fun!

I’ve grabbed my ticket, now what do I need to do?

For now, just be sure to grab that ticket and mark your calendar for June 2nd from 9 am to 11 am.

What if my child is not yet potty trained?

SafeSplash requires both a disposable and non-disposable diaper for any kiddos not potty trained.  They have both available for sale at the school if you need them.

#cosmbplaydate & #iamsafesplash are the hashtags!

Tonya
Tonya grew up in Iowa and attended the University of Northern Iowa, where she majored in Health Promotion (the degree you choose when you know are meant to make an impact but you don’t know exactly how) After graduating in 2003, her adventurous spirit lead her to pack up her little car and move to Colorado Springs. Her heart was easily won by the beautiful landscape, the amazing weather, colorful Aspen trees, and the fabulous people in this city. In 2008, she married her love and best friend, Ryan. They added two amazing boys to the family…Landon (2009) and Kellan (2011). After a rewarding career as a Director for the Muscular Dystrophy Association and a sales representative for Pfizer, her heart desired more time with her boys. In 2011, she became a work from home mom, focusing on her very busy boys full time and her health and wellness coaching business part time! Her passion as a mom includes building legos, trips to the zoo, family hikes, fishing, and camping. Her passion as a health coach is helping people see their potential, reach goals, and lead a healthy lifestyle. In her spare time (what is that again??), she loves working out, running, and reading. Her favorite things to do with her handsome hubby include riding bikes downtown Colorado Springs for date nights, hiking the incline, trying new (exotic) foods, spending time with great (adult) friends, and trying craft beers (inspired of course by her husband!).
