The Top Posts From Our 3rd Year: Local Moms, Local Hearts

Happy Birthday to us! Today we are celebrating 3 years of Colorado Springs Moms Blog. We are so grateful that you are celebrating this major milestone with us! Our hope for COSMB is to foster motherhood connections, create space for family memories to be formed, and help our community love the great city we live in.

As you may know, the growth between 3-year-olds and four-year-olds is tremendous. Running instead of just walking, finding the words and the voice to really share what is on their little hearts, being curious enough to ask a lot of questions, and learning so much from those questions.

We are more excited than ever to step into our 4th year to discover the next level of heart, community, service and fun we can bring to this motherhood journey in our local city. We hope you will help us spread the word to the women and families in your circles so that we can continue to grow and mature this year!

Our goal for COSMB is to be inspiring and uplifting, and to meet you just where you are. Our team of 36 local moms is stronger and more passionate than ever. We believe that you will find bits and pieces of yourself in our diverse team of moms who have walked through so many different seasons. You belong here, in community with us.

Below we’ve gathered the top 10 posts of our 3rd year – take a walk down memory lane with us, and strap in for the journey through our next year. We are thrilled to have you along for the ride!

Tara is the younger sister! She is a stay-at-home mommy to four incredible kiddos: 1 adventurous boy, Ryker (Nov 2008) & 3 spunky girls: Priya (March 2011) and twin girls Harper & Haven (Dec 2013). She is originally an Iowa girl that grew up in the small town of Manning. She attended Iowa Lakes Community College, where she majored in Associates Degree of Nursing. After graduating in 2006, she relocated to Des Moines, Iowa & married her handsome and charming hubby, Steve. In June 2014, with a leap of faith and decided heart, they relocated their family to Colorado Springs. A love for all things outdoors, you can find them spending quality time together camping, hiking, fishing & boating. Although finding balance is a challenge with 4 littles, Tara has learned to embrace the chaos and be grateful for a blessed & busy home. Tara has a love for fitness, healthy lifestyle, country music, Target, spending time with family/friends, frozen yogurt & all things Mom.
