Spend Quality time with the Jolly old elf himself! We will guide you in making a treasured “Santa & Me Handprint Plate,” or other project of your choice. Santa will have a gift for each child! He will read a story and visit with the children while you take photos to your heart’s content! We will have a cookie decorating station set up as well. Don’t miss this magical event!

Colorado Springs Pioneer Museum

Join the Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum for our annual FREE holiday celebration. Enjoy a full performance schedule, crafts, and activities led by a variety of community organizations. Don’t miss this special tradition that’s brought magic to the Pikes Peak region for over 20 years!

Cost: tickets available 12/1 at 9am
 

This festive, family-friendly event will take place on Sunday, December 17th at Building Three Coffee Roasters. ***MORE EVENT DETAILS COMING SOON

  • {MARK YOUR CALENDAR} Tickets will go on sale on Friday, December 1st at 9 am
  • Tickets to this event will include:: one digital photo with Santa per family, Christmas Carol listening, snacks, hot cocoa/coffee, and activities/crafts for the children.
  • This is a private, intimate event. We will have TWO time slots to choose from; 12:30-2:00 pm and 2:30-4:00pm. Please make sure that you select the tickets for the time slot that you would like to attend. We have only 75 tickets per time slot due to space restrictions. *tickets will NOT be sold at the door

Location: Fountain Creek Nature Center

Date: December 9 and 16

Time: Choose from 11:30am, 12pm, or 12:30pm

Cost: $7 per person

Enjoy the sounds of Suffolk Punch draft horses clip clopping down the Regional Trail with jingle bells and seasonal songs. Sponsored by the Miller and Evans Families. Weather permitting. Select ride time (11:30 a.m., 12 p.m., or 12:30 p.m.) when making required pre-paid reservations by phone or online.

Time: 10-11:30am

Cost: $3/member, $4/non-member

Participate in the interactive reading of “Twas the Night Before Christmas” poem, and make snowflake crafts while waiting for Santa to arrive at Fountain Creek Nature Center. Then hike the nature trail with Santa to see what gifts nature gives us. Prepaid registration required on-line or phone.

Cost: $5 adult, $3 child, under 2 free
 
Partnering with The Resource Exchange and Empty Stocking Fund this fun morning will include activities appropriate for children with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Purchase your tickets at Guest Services.

Kristal, Senior Writer
Kristal is a native of California, lived in Utah, and now lovingly calls Colorado Springs home. She grew up in a household with four younger siblings and graduated from University of California, Santa Cruz. She and her husband are raising their elementary school aged children in the Briargate area. With kids in school full time, Kristal is an active member of the PTA, and spends time working in local schools. She is passionate about connecting moms in our community. In her spare time, she enjoys long walks in the aisles of Target, dancing it out in Zumba classes, drinking copious amounts coffee, cooking dinner as a form of therapy, and last but certainly not least, spending time outdoors with her family.
