Hello and Welcome! I’m Jennifer McCandless, a newborn, maternity, baby, family and high school senior photographer based in Colorado Springs, Colorado. I’m married to my best friend and have two adorable little girls with the sweetest little personalities ever. As for photography, I offer on location photo sessions and I have a comfortable studio for my precious newborn clients. I like my clients to feel comfy and not like they are at a mall studio where they are rushed or treated like a dime a dozen…I’ve had those experiences. I will keep shooting until I feel like I’ve gotten the best images I can. You will often hear me say, “Okay, just one more” and I’ll shoot 20 more pictures! My style is fun, colorful and fresh. I don’t like all of my images to look the same, I always want to be doing something new and creative.
When asked what kind of photography Melissa does, she describes herself as being an “Emotive” Photographer.We’re not talking ‘romantic’ love here (although she does see that too) – but she has the unique ability to capture the in-between moments.
