Katie Corinne Photography believes in heirloom imagery that tells the stories of your life.  From maternity to milestones, we capture how much change and love happens in a few short years.  We offer a variety of maternity clothing, props, wraps and clothing for our newborn sessions. 6 month sessions and cake smash 1 year sessions also include clothing, props, sets and of course the cake!  All sessions include select digitals and a variety of choices of print keepsakes.

Hello and Welcome! I’m Jennifer McCandless, a newborn, maternity, baby, family and high school senior photographer based in Colorado Springs, Colorado. I’m married to my best friend and have two adorable little girls with the sweetest little personalities ever. As for photography, I offer on location photo sessions and I have a comfortable studio for my precious newborn clients. I like my clients to feel comfy and not like they are at a mall studio where they are rushed or treated like a dime a dozen…I’ve had those experiences. I will keep shooting until I feel like I’ve gotten the best images I can. You will often hear me say, “Okay, just one more” and I’ll shoot 20 more pictures! My style is fun, colorful and fresh. I don’t like all of my images to look the same, I always want to be doing something new and creative.

When asked what kind of photography Melissa does, she describes herself as being an “Emotive” Photographer.We’re not talking ‘romantic’ love here (although she does see that too) – but she has the unique ability to capture the in-between moments. She creates beautiful portraits, but it’s so much more than that… Her talent is bringing the soul to light. It’s magic. Melissa is drawn to newborn sessions and the golden-hour sessions, where long shadows and soft light brings a romance and there’s a good chance that you will get choked up when you first see your gallery. Melissa has a way to make “stiff” and “posed” sessions to be more loosened up. She does a great job at encouraging clients to loosen up and play with their littles – your session is about capturing, joy, love, and happiness. Capturing the real you, in whatever form that may be.

Married in 1999, we began our journey that lead us into photography. We wanted to capture images of our children that would inspire and delight, not only us, but our family and friends. This desire lead us to begin capturing moments with friends and family and eventually lead to us forming a business to share our love of photography and imagery with others. We always knew we wanted more than just the standard images you could get at a local studio and soon we found that others wanted more as well. Over the years we have been blessed to capture images of many families, newborns, weddings, seniors and dancers.
