The Classical Academy (TCA) is the largest K—12th grade charter school in Colorado. Launched in 1997 with 400 students, TCA currently enrolls 3700+ students on three campuses in seven programs. TCA alone is larger than 75% of the public school districts in Colorado. In 2012 the Colorado Department of Education awarded every TCA school (elementary, junior high, and high school) the John Irwin Award for Academic Excellence—an award given to schools that demonstrate excellent academic achievement. Also, in 2012, the TCA High School was rated first of all Colorado public high schools by Colorado Grades Schools, a coalition of 18 community organizations whose mission is to grade Colorado schools.
Nanno (www.nanno.com) is the first true on-demand babysitting app, giving parents a way to book fully vetted sitters and nannies using a simple on-demand platform. Nanno was founded by two career-driven moms who saw how much childcare uncertainty limited them and their peers in their professional pursuits. Seeing no satisfactory options for flexible, on-demand childcare, they built one. As professional problem-solvers, they built the solution they knew they needed. As moms, they took extra care to ensure that the platform’s vetting process is best-in-class, for both caregivers and parents.

Space Foundation Home Study Program
This school year will have a different meaning to the word “Homeschool.” We at Space Foundation Discovery Center will spend this year considering EVERY student a “Home Study” student, whether in school, attending virtually or enrolled in a formal homeschooling program. Space Foundation Discovery Center’s Home Study Program will focus on how we will be assisting parents and families to educate their K-12 students in Science Standards through Space as a lens for the 3 Sciences: Earth & Space, Physical, and Life Sciences.

For over 16 years I have been connecting families with live-in childcare that has a cultural exchange and foreign language twist that benefits the whole family. Choosing the right childcare is not an easy decision. Because as parents, we don’t ever want to compromise on quality, flexibility and trust when finding care for the most important people in the world. And now, it’s even more challenging to find safe and reliable care on a schedule that works for your family. Hosting a Cultural Care au pair gives thousands of families across the country those very important benefits. Learn more about who our au pairs are, what they do, and why more families than ever are joining our program.
An au pair is a young adult from overseas who lives with your family on a legal visa for up to two years and provides childcare in exchange for a weekly stipend, room and board, and an opportunity to become part of an American family. Over time, an au pair becomes a trusted support for the parents at home, and a beloved and consistent caregiver for your children.
Facts about au pairs:
- Au pairs come from 20+ countries around the world
- All au pairs are between the ages of 18-26 when they arrive in the U.S.
- Au pairs stay for a minimum of 12 months and have the option to extend for 6, 9, or 12 months with the same family or a new one
- Most au pairs are women (but we have amazing male au pairs as well!)
- Au pairs can provide up to 45 hours of childcare per week (up to 10 hours per day)
