2023 Children’s Day Festival

A fun FREE event with activities and entertainment hosted by the Japan-America Society of Southern Colorado in cooperation with Colorado College to celebrate the Japanese holiday, Children’s Day.
Children of all ages are invited to participate! All supplies are provided. If possible, please dress your children in kimono, yukata, or even martial arts uniforms so they can participate in the fashion show! This year’s festival features numerous traditional and modern Japanese craft activities from 10:00-12:00, and concludes with live entertainment, including a martial arts demonstration, dance performance, and gala fashion show, from 12:00-12:30. Free to the public but donations are welcome.
