I consider myself pretty low maintenance when it comes to a beauty routine. I don’t wear a bunch of makeup… no foundations, powder, or blush. I usually have some eyeshadow and mascara, and on a good day maybe I’ll color my lips. That being said, I do love all the little beauty tools out there. I am easily swayed by what a product can do for me and I love to try the gimmicks and hacks. My husband says I am a marketer’s dream. Over the years I have collected many gadgets and today I want to share my favorites with you!

Raw Silk Gloves

I am a huge fan of dry brushing. If you have never heard of it, it is an ayurvedic daily massage practice that is said to help with lymphatic drainage, circulation, and digestion. I do it for the gentle exfoliation it provides. I used to use a stiff dry brush, until I found these raw silk gloves. These are softer and less scratchy than a dry bush. It’s a quick and easy way to get the blood flowing to your skin first thing in the morning!

Face Brush

This simple 2-in-1 face brush is the only way I will wash my face any more. I put a pump of my facial cleanser on the silicone side and gently massage the cleanser onto my face. I have found that this little beauty tool has helped keep me clear of blackheads. The other side has bristles, but I actually only use the silicone side. I was even commended during my last facial for having clearer skin. I keep this baby in my shower and have one by my sink.

Jade Roller

After washing my face, I use this jade face roller when I am applying any serums or lotions. The roller is cool and helps reduce any puffiness as you also give yourself a lymphatic massage. The one I use has two sizes of rollers – one for your face, and a smaller roller for the area beneath your eyes. I have definitely seen a difference in my undereye puffiness since I have added a jade roller to my routine!

Shower Cap

Don’t laugh, but I am obsessed with my shower cap! I have been growing my hair out during the last year and have found that I needed something that would keep my long hair dry on non-shampoo days. I got a sweet little cap like this one and love to rock it. Sure, it makes me look like a grandma, but who cares? I’m in the shower!!

Hair Clips

For the days I do wash my hair, I use these super durable clips when I am drying my hair. Unlike other clips I have used, these clips adjust their hold to both wet and dry hair. They have held up the test of time, too! I think I have had the same clips for a couple of years now. They haven’t broken or lost their hold.

Flossers

Okay, so this one isn’t necessarily a beauty tool, but I use them multiple times a day. Individual flossers are a must have. If we are being real, I haven’t been the best flosser over my lifetime. More and more, I notice more food getting stuck in my teeth. These little guys are perfect for getting in those hard-to-reach places. I keep a bag of them in my bathroom, the console of my car and in my office. This way, I am never caught trying to pick little bits out from in between my teeth.

Not only do I love using all these items, but I love their price! Each can be purchased for less than $20! I would love to hear about your favorite beauty tools. I’m likely to go right out and try them!
