Valentine’s Weekend: Parents’ Night Out

Valentine's Weekend Parents' Night Out

My husband and I had our first date on Valentine’s weekend. We went go-kart racing, saw a movie AND had a lovely dinner, complete with a great bottle of wine and live music.

Ahhhhhh… Life before kids. Those magnificent days when you could decide you wanted to go out, brush your hair, throw on your favorite lipstick and walk out the door.

Just. Like. That.

Enter children. We all know that making time for our significant other is important. You would LOVE to enjoy an evening out with your spouse, but the thought of trying to find babysitters on the most commercially romantic weekend of the year is daunting.

They’re already booked with other families. Or perhaps they already have booked their own dinner reservations.

But stay with me here because you, my friend, have options. 🙂

Following is a list of organizations that are offering Parents’ Night Out events this weekend. Please call or email ahead to confirm details or to reserve a spot for your kids.
