We were so honored and thrilled to have the opportunity to gather over 100 Colorado Springs area moms two weeks ago to celebrate the second birthday of Colorado Springs Moms Blog. In partnership with Chris Clonts, REALTOR and Johnson Orthodontics, we welcomed dozens of couples and groups of friends to party the night away “90’s Style.”

Ivywild School graciously opened their doors on Thursday, July 27th and hosted this awesome group of moms, their dates, and their friends. The gym was lined with vendor tables and decked out in a 90’s Theme. After sifting through our many wonderful tables, we cranked up the music, got the dance party started, and had a blast.

YUM! No Prom would be made complete without some delicious appetizers to keep you fueled for a night of fun and dancing! The Blue Star Group provided a spread of yummy hors d’oeuvres to enjoy all night long, and fellow Colorado Springs Mama, Robyn of The One Butt Bakery, made a stunning birthday cake and her fabulous truffles for dessert. If you haven’t tried these truffles yet, you must get your hands on them! Sugar Blush Studio designed a fabulous cake topper to make the cake extra special!

Made right here in Colorado, Bristol Brewing Company happily ignores school rules by brewing and serving beer in the classroom of the Ivywild school! Our 90’s Prom attendees enjoyed beer and wine all night long!

The gym at Ivywild School was filled with fun experiences, thanks to our vendors! We asked them all to provide our guests with something 90’s themed, and they delivered. Everything from Slap Bracelets, Glow Sticks, 90’s candy and a Karaoke Contest, the night was truly all about the 90’s. Entertainment::
All Star DJs had the music on point the entire night. Our crowd was out on the dance floor getting their groove on. Chris Clonts, REALTOR with Keller Williams hosted an amazing Karaoke Contest. There was a wait list for people to participate and most would say it was the absolute highlight of the night!

COSMB Gives Back:: COSiloveyou
As with all of our events, Colorado Springs Moms Blog chooses a charity that gives back to our community. Our selected charity partner is COSiloveyou, which is a movement of diverse organizations and people who share a heart and passion for our city, who are determined to make a difference and who know they are better together! This year, COSiloveyou is providing support to Springs Rescue Mission. We asked our guests to bring a hygiene item to donate. We filled a box with items to give, and we love being able to support our community!
