5. A Great Deal for a Movie!

Tickets to the Wonder & Care Movie Event to benefit Care & Share (happening THIS Saturday, November 18th) are only $7/person! That’s cheaper than the usual movie ticket price! Plus you get so much more with your ticket (see reasons 4, 3 and 1 for details!)

4. CHICK-FIL-A

Are you a parent? Then I’m convinced you like Chick-fil-a. I’ll be honest, we usually go for a reminder of what good manners sound like, and as a bonus, we all love their food!  Chick-fil-A at North Carefree is providing a BOXED LUNCH for each ticketholder [Chick-fil-A Sandwich, Waffle Potato Chips, Chocolate Chunk Cookie & drink].

3. Fun For the Whole Family

Join us for the After Party in the Park, which is across the street from the movie theater! Help your kids design their own #ChooseKind astronaut helmet, and also visit our Family Photobooth. Be sure to share your images on social media using the hashtags #ChooseKind and #WonderandCare

2. Teaching Our Kids to #ChooseKind is So Important

There are few lessons more powerful than this one. If you haven’t read the book, the story shares the life of Auggie from his perspective, as well as from his family and friends’ perspectives. It is a story that will dig deep into your emotions and make you think hard about what our kids face on a day to day basis. If there was ever a time the next generation needed to hear a message on loving others, it is now.

1. It is for a Great Cause ~ Benefiting Care & Share Food Bank of Southern Colorado

Care & Share has one belief: No one should go hungry. Every day, they provide food to partner agencies across Southern Colorado to serve our neighbors in need because well-fed communities are better for us all. A portion of all ticket proceeds will be donated to Care & Share Food Bank of Southern Colorado. We are also encouraging all guests to bring food items to donate. The biggest needs are:

  • CANNED FRUIT
  • CANNED VEGETABLES
  • SOUP
  • CANNED MEAT OR TUNA
  • PEANUT BUTTER
  • CEREAL/OATMEAL

Tonya
Tonya grew up in Iowa and attended the University of Northern Iowa, where she majored in Health Promotion (the degree you choose when you know are meant to make an impact but you don’t know exactly how) After graduating in 2003, her adventurous spirit lead her to pack up her little car and move to Colorado Springs. Her heart was easily won by the beautiful landscape, the amazing weather, colorful Aspen trees, and the fabulous people in this city. In 2008, she married her love and best friend, Ryan. They added two amazing boys to the family…Landon (2009) and Kellan (2011). After a rewarding career as a Director for the Muscular Dystrophy Association and a sales representative for Pfizer, her heart desired more time with her boys. In 2011, she became a work from home mom, focusing on her very busy boys full time and her health and wellness coaching business part time! Her passion as a mom includes building legos, trips to the zoo, family hikes, fishing, and camping. Her passion as a health coach is helping people see their potential, reach goals, and lead a healthy lifestyle. In her spare time (what is that again??), she loves working out, running, and reading. Her favorite things to do with her handsome hubby include riding bikes downtown Colorado Springs for date nights, hiking the incline, trying new (exotic) foods, spending time with great (adult) friends, and trying craft beers (inspired of course by her husband!).
