MEET THE CO SPRINGS MOM COLLECTIVE EXECUTIVE TEAM
ERICA COLSTONOWNER + EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Erica has worn many hats since joining Co Springs Mom Collective in 2017. She first came on as Contributor, then joined the Executive Team as Advertising Manager and is now the proud Owner and Executive Director. With a background in Public Relations and Marketing, Erica has been working in online media since 2008 and loves its ability to create enriching connections and community. Erica has a passion for serving others, something which led her and her family to begin fostering several years ago. She has welcomed her heart and home to several children in Colorado Springs and considers it one of her hardest and most beautiful accomplishments yet. Her role of mom is one she is most proud of. She and her husband have a beautiful blended family of seven, including five children who range in age from 11 - 17. It is truly never a dull moment in her home.
ASHLEY HAMERSHOCKMANAGING EDITOR + MEDIA RELATIONS
Ashley is managing editor for Co Springs Mom Collective and one of two content creators for City Mom Collective. This longtime reporter and writer has worked for various newspapers, magazines and wire services, including about a decade at The Associated Press. When time allows, she takes on projects through her freelance business: www.seasonedscribe.com. She and her family spend most of their free time and money traveling. Ashley has visited more than 40 countries; her husband has visited more. It seems they're passing the travel bug on to their two sons, who have spent hundreds of hours on planes, trains, ships and road trips. These rugged little boys can’t get enough. Camping, anyone?
COSETTE KIRKPATRICKPROJECT MANAGER
Cosette, a Colorado native, grew up hiking, camping and appreciating the beautiful mountains and the local community. She married her high school sweetheart, Rob. They have enjoyed traveling the world, taking walks with their dog and finding new adventures. Their biggest adventure yet? Welcoming their son into their family. Cosette loves getting coffee with friends, organizing events, designing wedding flowers, working out with friends, and finding ways to support the local community. Having earned bachelors and masters degrees in social work, Cosette spent years as a social worker for the county. She supported local children displaced from their homes. And she helped to find them forever homes or be reunified with family. Cosette now serves as Event Coordinator for COSMC. She loves helping create exciting events for the Colorado Springs community!
