Get ready for Halloween sweets and treats with our list of special events to celebrate in Colorado Springs! This round-up of kid-friendly events includes trick or treating and trunk or treats around town. What are you going to be for Halloween?

The Event: It’ll be all treats and no tricks for your little pirates and princesses at this year’s Boo at the Zoo, the region’s most unique Halloween event. Boo at the Zoo is a fun way for families with young children to trick-or-treat and enjoy Halloween festivities in a safe environment, and all of our candy is made with sustainable palm oil to help protect wild orangutans!

Please keep in mind that because of this wonderful event, the Zoo will be closing early at 3 pm on Boo at the Zoo days!

The Event: Gather the Goblins and Escort the Princesses for Haunted Miniature Golf and Scare Free Fun the Whole Family will enjoy! Trick or Treat through the Haunted Old West at Dozens of Treat Stations. Take a Hay Ride and warm up by the Camp Fire at the Black Widow Pirate Ship while you Roast Marshmallows and tell Spooky Stories. Then Smash Some Pumpkins with our Giant Punkin Chunkin Slingshots, and Don’t Miss the Nightly Costume Contests with Super Fun Prizes!

Pricing: $7/person, children 3 and under FREE (Note: Your entry fee includes all access to Haunted Miniature Golf, Trick-or-Treating, Carnival Games, Hay Rides, Pirate Ship, & More – NOT included in this cost is the “Punkin Chunkin” activity and Food & Beverages)

The Event: ‘Mummies’ and Daddies won’t have to Trick their little Ghosts and Goblins to visit Boo at the Bridge. All will have a ‘Spooktacular’ experience to include goodies, entertainment and games. It will be a Treat to have you here.

The Event: You can look forward to all of the usual excitement that we’ve come to love about Bass Pro’s holiday events with fun crafts, cute photo opportunities, and even trick-or-treating for your little ones! Special costume parade and trick or treating events on Saturday 10/27 and Wednesday 10/31; see website for details!

The Event: You are welcome to wear a costume and invite your family, friends, and neighbors to this Trunk or Treat Event, at ACC. Bounce houses, lunch, and decorated trunks full of treats included.

When: Saturday, October 27th from 10am – 1pm

Pricing: Admission is one non-perishable food or toiletry item to be donated to Mercy’s Gate.

 

The Event: There will be 20+ trunks, games, candy, a bounce house, face painting, and balloon animals, all FREE for families in our community to enjoy!

The Event: It’s Stiches Time…It’s a spooky time as Stitches the scarecrow (Cathy Kelsay) shares Halloween stories and helps everyone create hanging black spiders to take home. Prizes for the Best Dinosaur costume, The Most Creative costume, the Funniest and the Scariest costumes. Parade through the museum before winning costumes are announced and treat bags for all kids at the end of the show. Get your costume, camera and imagination ready and come prepared for a very interactive Halloween show.

The Event: Trunk-or-Treat, Bounce Houses, Food, Birds of Prey Exhibit, Petting Zoo, Pony Rides, Face Painting, Games and more

The Event: FREE Kids Halloween Festival! Touch-A-Truck area, bounce house, crafts, games, monster rock hunt, unique shopping, Food Trucks, and so much more!

The Event: Come get your Trick or Treating done in a safe environment! Shops will be open for Trick or Treating from 2-4:30 pm.

When: Tuesday, October 31st from 2-4:30 pm

The Event: Get your costume on and grab your bag for some Trick or Treating; it’s Mall-O-Ween at the Chapel Hills Mall! It’s a safe and fun Halloween celebration targeted toward kids 10 and under with treats, music, games, stories, and more!

Where: 1710 Briargate Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO 80920

When: Date Wednesday, October 31st from 5-7:00 pm

The Event: Get your costume on and grab your bag for some Trick or Treating; it’s Mall-O-Ween at the Citadel Mall! It’s a safe and fun Halloween celebration targeted toward kids 10 and under with treats, music, games, stories, and more!

When: Date Wednesday, October 31st from 5-7:00 pm

The Event: Though many details are still in the works, plans include a Trunk or Treat and outdoor activities.

The Event: Come on over and join us for some free fun!  Yummy treats, decorated cars, yummy treats, fun games, yummy treats, friendly people, yummy treats, popcorn, yummy treats, hot chocolate and spiced cider … oh, and did we say yummy treats?

Excitement and fun galore at Widefield Community Bible Church’s 2nd Annual Trunk-or-Treat.  We are located near Mesa Ridge High School and Webster Elementary School.

When: Wednesday, October 31st from 6-8pm

The Event: Join us on October 31st for a fun and safe way to get LOADS of candy! We’ll be decorating over 30 trunks in our parking lot and filling them with candy for the kiddos. We’ll also have food trucks, free hot dogs, chips, apple cider, coffee, and hot chocolate available outside. Then bring your candy and refreshments inside for the GIANT inflatables for kids 6 and older! We’ll also have smaller inflatables for kids 5 and under.

  1. Fountain Creek nature center also has a pumpkin carving party and Jack-o-lantern trail on Saturday, Oct. 27, 2018. Lots of family fun!
